Money 4 nothing – L’impact finance, in pratica
22 giugno – L’impact finance, in pratica
Impact Finance has been discussed for over ten years. In 2013, the G8 launched a specific Task Force to understand how to ensure that capital is directed towards measurable and verifiable social and environmental objectives. Since then the initiatives, the “impact” funds, the estimates of a market that is undoubtedly growing have multiplied. But which also poses a high reputational risk, if the concept of impact is not preserved by convenient exploitation and manipulation (social and green washing), now that authorities and institutions require all intermediaries to pay attention to the three letters E (environment) , S (social), G (governance). Yet there is a great opportunity, with a lot of liquidity in circulation, to be directed towards human and sustainable development. With Filippo Addarii, a European expert in social economy and impact investing, we will talk about the potential, the best stories, the misunderstandings to avoid when it comes to “impact finance”.
