Money 4 nothing – Le criptovalute, tra anarchia e speculazione
26 ottobre – Le criptovalute, tra anarchia e speculazione
discussant: Mariano Carozzi
relatore guida: Alessandro Messina
“The main problem with money is the great amount of trust it takes to make it work.” The phrase is attributed to Satoshi Nakamoto, the supposed creator of Bitcoin, the most famous and widespread global cryptocurrency.
Behind there is the belief that technology can simplify the processes of sedimentation of trust, between people and between institutions, and therefore free the individual from the obligation to submit to an authority, to a power, which coercively imposes its coin model. This is the promise of decentralized, distributed-ledger-technology (DLT) applications.
A utopian positive vision, which is often contrasted with the speculative use or abuse of cryptocurrencies for illicit trafficking. Hence the question: are cryptocurrencies good or bad? A project that retains the potential for the democratization of finance or just yet another bubble?
We will talk about it next October 26, in the seventh appointment of M4N, with Mariano Carozzi, one of the most experienced and attentive Italian observers on the crypto world, president of Young Platform.

My professional experiences could be divided substantially into three main periods.

In 2015, I joined the Sator Group and in this last professional experience, I was in charge of Tinaba spa, which I was Managing Director.
In 2019 I started my personal business based on advising, investing in sectioned targets and finding and supporting early stage start-up, the more successful start-up Young platform spa which I am currently the Chairman. I’m deeply involved in fintech as of counsel of Annunziata&Conso and as Founder of Firstpersonalcoin a web 3.0 company.
